Barry Alexander and Cosmo Buono
are pleased to announce the launch of
The Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition (ABIFC),
designed as an entrée into the world of flute performance for those seriously interested
in pursuing a professional career.

ABIFC is open to flutists from age five to Adult, and divided into five categories:

Dates are as follows:

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday September 15, 2010
WINNERS’ RECITAL: Sunday October 24, 2010

Multiple First Prize Winners will be chosen from each category.
Applicants chosen as winners are given a performance in
Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as the First Prize.
